PRACTICE PROFILE
Maxine Mongeon is an associate at Theall Group LLP. She maintains a broad commercial litigation practice with a focus on product liability, franchise law, bankruptcy & insolvency, and class actions. She also acts on insurance coverage matters and international litigation files.
Ms. Mongeon, who is fluent in French, was called to the Ontario bar in 2007. She served her articles of clerkship with a litigation boutique, where she gained invaluable experience in insurance and commercial litigation. Ms. Mongeon has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has mediation and trial experience.

Professional Involvement
Ms. Mongeon is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society, and the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario (AJÉFO). She regularly acts as volunteer duty counsel with Pro Bono Law Ontario at the Superior Court of Justice and has presented seminars on the Rules of Civil Procedure to self-represented litigants. She has also contributed to the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Negotiation Segment of the Bar Admission Course.
