Professional Involvement
Michael is co-author of Watson & McGowan, Ontario Civil Practice, now in its 24th edition, and has been editor-in-chief of Carswell's Practice Cases since 1984. For a three year term from 1992 to 1995 Michael served on the Class Proceedings Committee established under the Law Society Act initially as Vice-Chair and subsequently as Chair. Michael is a frequent contributor to continuing legal education programs regarding class actions and civil procedure.
